Established in 1969, the Canadian Dermatology Foundation (CDF) is Canada’s only national, not-for-profit funder of basic and applied dermatology research.
As a registered charity, the CDF solicits donations from individuals and corporations and uses the funds to support dermatology-focused educational and scientific activities.
- building awareness and understanding of skin, hair and nail disorders among professional, public, business and government audiences
- fostering research that contributes to basic and clinical knowledge
Patients and dermatologists alike benefit from advances in the study and knowledge of skin diseases. These yield improvements in diagnosis and treatment reaching far beyond our borders.
The foundation remains dedicated to ensuring a future of excellence in dermatology research in Canada.
